Dawn

Dawn

No matter how much I learn of the physics of the universe, when it is actually happening in my very presence, when my eyes are open as witness, and to whatever physics or metaphysics that somehow connect those eyes to this consciousness, or how accurately an intelligence can calculate how many times it has happened or will happen, that consciousness or intelligence can conceive of nothing more miraculous than the dawn.

Unless, perhaps, it be the very desire to witness more such miracles before it witnesses yet another dawn.
